Privacy, in plain words
Audiee is local-first. Your transcripts, notes, knowledge base, and to-dos are files on your Mac — we don't have them, can't read them, and don't want them.
What leaves your machine
- Audio, during capture — streamed to our transcription providers, returned as text, not retained by Audiee's servers.
- Assistant requests — the text you send to Audiee's chat/summarize features is processed by our LLM provider and not used for training.
- Account basics — your email and subscription tier, for sign-in and billing. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
What never leaves
Your knowledge base, meeting notes, dictation history, screenshots, and to-dos. Delete the app and the files are still yours; export is one click.
Recordings of other people
When you record a meeting, you — not Audiee — decide what is captured. You are responsible for telling participants and getting any consent your local law requires before recording. Audiee processes that audio on your behalf to produce a transcript and does not keep a copy on our servers.
Your rights
Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (and similar laws elsewhere), you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account data. Email hello@audiee.ai and we'll respond within 30 days. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion; everything local to your Mac is already under your control.
